The Solicitors Regulation Authority Transparency Rules require us to make available certain costs information related to the preparation and submission of some of the applications we make for individual clients. We set out below the relevant average ranges for our fixed fees, disbursements and details of the services included within these fees and average likely timescales for each key stage of the matter.

Applications on behalf of European Economic Area nationals and their family members (including permanent residence documents, residence cards, registration certificates and family permits)

  • Our fixed fees will generally range between £2,500 and £5,000* depending on complexity** however our fees will depend on the facts of each individual matter and we will give you a more accurate estimate once we have the relevant details of your circumstances
  • If you are applying for a non-EEA family permit key disbursements will be any courier/special postage costs
  • If you applying from within the UK key disbursements will be Home Office filing fees https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/visa-regulations-revised-table/home-office-immigration-and-nationality-fees-2018, the Home Office commercial partner, Sopra Steria’s charges (if applicable – the standard service is free of charge but, for instance, next day/same day and out of hours appointments start at £100 per applicant and use of the premium service lounge starts at £200 in addition to the Home Office fees) and any courier/special postage costs. You will also need to be ready to incur the Government biometrics enrolment fee of £19.20 (non-EEA nationals only)
  • Key stages of our service include discussing your circumstances in detail and assessing the most appropriate application to be made, providing initial advice, considering your supporting evidence, preparing and submitting your application and providing advice on the outcome of your application and any further steps you are required to take. We will generally complete each stage of your application within two to five working days of receiving all required documents/information from you (depending on the level of complexity), however our timeframes will depend on the facts of each individual matter and could exceed these ranges.
