Vanessa acts for corporate and private clients in family, human rights, and business-related immigration matters.
Her clients include investment banks, hedge funds, IT companies, manufacturing, tech firms, new media, TV, film, publishing, high profile celebrities, musicians and high net worth individuals. She is renowned for her expertise in appeals and challenging refusals.
Vanessa speaks regularly at conferences, lectures on immigration law to other practitioners, writes on topical immigration issues and makes media appearances. Vanessa is an active member and trustee of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA).
Vanessa has an LLB from Lancaster University and completed the Law Society Finals at Chester College of Law. She qualified as a solicitor with Irving & Co and was made partner in 2003. Vanessa joined Laura Devine Solicitors in 2005 and became a partner in 2013 before forming Ganguin Samartin with Paul.
